Senior guard Brittney Wald has been named the CCIW women's basketball player of the week. Wald was a key reason the Pioneers went 2-0 this past week, as she averaged 22.5 points per game and 7.5 rebounds per game, while also shot 67% from behind the arc in those two games. In the Pioneer's 60-55 win at North Central, Wald secured a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds. She would then give an encore for her home crowd, scoring a team high 22 points in a big 75-69 win over Augustana.
