Carroll Athletics Highlights: Varsity letters: diving (4). Participated in the National Swimming and Diving Championship each year. At nationals her junior and senior year, Rose earned recognition four times as an NCAA All-American in both one and three meter diving events. Multi-year winner of the Wisconsin Private College Championship and Conference Championships. During Rose’s career she set records at Carroll as well as other colleges in Wisconsin and Illinois.  Selected Female Athlete of the Year in 1983 and 1984. Has coached 18 state diving qualifiers, including winning the WIAA State Championship for boys in 1996. In 1995 was selected Boys Diving Coach of the Year by the Wisconsin Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association.
