Don Paitrick ‘73
Don was a four-year member of the men’s tennis team and a two-year member of the basketball team. He captained the 1972 and 1973 tennis teams, the latter of which went on to win the CCIW team championship. He finished his tennis career at Carroll with three CCIW titles, winning the No. 1 singles title in 1973 and the No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles titles in 1970. Following the 1973 season, he became only the second men’s tennis player in Carroll history to compete in the NCAA Division III National Tournament. After graduation, Don became a professional tennis coach and director of tennis at several clubs. He remains active in the United States Tennis Association.
