Jason Gosa '02 is one of the most decorated track & field student-athletes in Carroll history, while also playing one year of soccer. Carroll's 2001 Male Athlete of the Year, Gosa is an 11-time Midwest Conference Champion and 29 All-Conference performer, while being named MWC Performer of the Meet on two occasions, medaling in all six sprint events in 2000 and 2001. Gosa held seven school records upon graduation, three of which still stand today (Indoor 4x200 relay and Outdoor 4x100 and 4x200 relays). A six-time NCAA Division-III national qualifier, Gosa was ranked in the nation's top 25 in a sprint event six times, with his highest ranking of ninth coming during the 2000 season. He would go on to serve as Carroll's assistant track coach for five years (2007-11).
