Carroll Athletics Highlights: Varsity letters: swimming (4). Carroll College MVP four years. All-American swimmer 1988-1990. CCIW most valuable swimmer. 1987 CCIW Conference Champion, 1987-1989. Still holds Carroll records in six individual events: 200 freestyle, 500 freestyle, 1000 freestyle, 200 individual medley, 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke. Destrampe was also part of relay teams that hold Carroll record to date: 400 medley relay, 400 freestyle relay, and 800 freestyle relay.
