Lettered four years in cross country and track, one year in wrestling…Cross Country- Undefeated as a freshman, conference champion; MVP three Years; co-captain senior year…Track- Conference champion in mile and 2 mile in 1961; Set school record in 2 mile in 1961; conference champion in 880 yd. run and second in 2 mile in 1963…Active in community sports programs as participant and volunteer leader.
