Blau anchored a Carroll defense that pitched two shutouts to start their 2023 season over the weekend, defeating Beloit 2-0 and Lake Forest 4-0. Blau played all 180 minutes on the back end in those two games combined, as she helped limit her opponents to just five shots all weekend. She also scored her second career goal in the second half of the Lake Forest game to put Carroll up by a 2-0 margin.
