Hege was dominant at the plate in Carroll's four games over the weekend, leading them to a 3-1 record with a trio of wins against Illinois Tech. The highlight of Hege's week came in Saturday's 19-5 trouncing of Illinois Tech, which saw the McHenry, Ill. native collect seven RBI on three hits, all of which went for extra bases. Hege was just a single shy of hitting for the cycle on the contest. In the four games combined, Hege tallied nine hits on 17 at-bats for a .529 batting average. He scored eight runs and drove in nine more. Of Hege's eight hits, three went for doubles, one for a triple, and two cleared the fence for home runs..Hege currently leads the CCIW in doubles and RBI, ranking 20th and 23rd in the Division-III, respectively.
