In four appearances last week, Nolen recorded two saves, while firing 3.2 innings of hitless ball as Carroll's closer. The Poplar Grove, Ill. native did not allow a run, while striking out seven of the 12 batters he faced, playing a key role in Carroll's three-game sweep of conference foe Wheaton (IL) College.
