Pavelka earned two wins in as many days over the weekend, as Carroll's softball team got off to its best start to a season in four years (3-1). In three appearances, including two starts, the pitcher allowed just six earned runs on 13 hits in 14.2 innings of work. She tallied a cumulative ERA of 2.86, while striking out 15 batters, including a career-high of 13 in a complete game win against Mount St. Mary (NY).
