Daniel Ezcurra had a nearly flawless weekend, taking on two CCIW Conference foes. Against Illinois Wesleyan on Friday, Ezcurra won 6-4 in doubles with his partner Adrian Gomez, before also defeating Illinois Wesleyan in a thrilling three-set singles match 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 at the number one flight, to help seal the first conference win of the season for the Pioneers. Against Millikin on Saturday, Ezcurra had a massive victory to clinch the win for the Pioneers in what was an extremely tight match. Ezcurra defeated Millikin 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (8-6) in a closely-contested match at number two singles, helping Carroll's men’s tennis team go 2-0 over the weekend.
