Abby Curtis delivered an outstanding week at the plate to help lead Carroll softball through a demanding stretch of games during its spring trip. Over six contests, Curtis hit .500 (11-for-22) with five runs scored, four RBI, and three stolen bases, providing consistent production and pressure at the top of the Pioneer lineup.
Curtis opened the week with a standout performance against Thomas (Me.), going 3-for-4 with two RBI in a Carroll victory. She followed with multi-hit efforts against Saint Joseph’s (Me.), Beloit, Albertus Magnus, and Husson, showcasing her ability to make consistent contact against a variety of opponents.
In Carroll’s win over Beloit, Curtis went 2-for-4 with an RBI, while she added another 3-for-4 performance against Husson later in the week. She was also aggressive on the basepaths, successfully swiping three bases and creating additional scoring opportunities throughout the lineup.
Curtis finished the week batting .500 and raised her season average to .404, serving as a steady offensive presence as Carroll navigated a competitive slate of non-conference games.
