(Lake Forest, Ill.) – The Carroll University women's basketball team closed out the 2015-2016 season with a 66-46 Midwest Conference victory over Lake Forest College.
 
The Pioneers held the hosts to a dismal 28.8% shooting from the field.
 
Carroll led 24-9 after the first quarter then took a 38-17 lead into the break and cruised in the second half to easy victory.
 
Brittany Groer led four Carroll starters in double figures with 18 points while Brittney Wald, Malory Christenson and Emma Kopp added 13 points each. Kopp also pulled down a team-best 14 rebounds.
 
Christenson ended her career with 1,230 points and moved into fifth place on Carroll's all-time scoring list.
