Delaney Pruitt (Ringwood, Ill.) each scored two goals
to lead the Carroll University women's soccer team to a 7-1 victory over the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in a season-opening nonconference game at Pioneer Stadium on Friday afternoon.
It was an impressive debut for Carroll, which showcased its offensive firepower early on by generating four unanswered goals over the course of the opening 15 minutes.

Rachel Van Sluys (Sheboygan, Wis.), and freshman midfielder
Aneli Solis (Zion, Ill.) each added a goal for the Pioneers,
who outshot UW-Platteville 18-2 - including a decisive 8-2 margin in the first half.
