WAUKESHA, Wis. - The Carroll University men's soccer team lost to North Park University 3-2 in a hot, humid College Conference of Illinois-Wisconsin opener at Schneider Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
It was the second consecutive one-goal loss and fourth of the season for Carroll, which dropped to 2-6-1 overall.
Senior midfielder Shatil Khoury scored two goals, including what proved to be the pressure-packed game-winner on a header at the 71:52 mark for North Park, which improved to 6-1 overall.

Issey Valadez (Milwaukee, Wis.) scored the opening goal of the contest on a penalty kick in the 17th minute for Carroll, which was outshot 13-7 - including a key 8-5 shot-on-goal margin.

Chad Peterson (Mukwonago, Wis.) in the 56th minute for the Pioneers.
Khoury converted a penalty kick in the first half for North Park. Sophomore midfielder Matias Warp scored on an assist from sophomore forward Peder Nalum Olsen in the 65th minute for the Vikings.
