Delaney Pruitt (Ringwood, Ill.) scored what proved to be the winning goal off an assist from senior midfielder
Jensen Meyer (Germantown, Wis.) at the 28:47 mark as the Carroll University women's soccer team defeated Millikin University 2-0 in a College Conference of Illinois-Wisconsin season finale at Lindsay Field on Saturday afternoon.
It was the fourth consecutive victory and sixth shutout for Carroll, which finished the season 3-3-2 in the conference standings and 7-8-4 overall.
Pruitt, a two-time CCIW all-conference selection, led the team with 10 goals this season and finished in a tie with former standout forward Krista Schneider for third all-time in program history with 50.

Amber Goodreau (Sussex, Wis.) scored her first collegiate goal on a double assist from Meyer and freshman midfielder
Hannah Schneider (Muskego, Wis.) in the 86th minute for the Pioneers, who outshot Millikin 16-5 in the contest - highlighted by an 8-0 shot-on-goal advantage.
Sophomore goalkeeper Jennifer Miller registered six saves for Millikin, which ended the season 3-5 in conference and 6-11 overall.
