Delaney Pruitt (Ringwood, Ill.) and freshman forward
Erika Hess (Green Bay, Wis.) each scored two goals to lead the Carroll University women's soccer team to a 6-0 victory over Lawrence University in a nonconference game at the Banta Bowl's Ron Roberts Field on Sunday evening.
It was the second shutout victory of the season for Carroll, which improved to 2-4-3 overall with the energized, character-building performance.
Pruitt scored what proved to be the winning goal off an assist from midfielder
Gina La Macchia (Mequon, Wis.) at the 2:21 mark to lead the Pioneers, who generated a season-high goal total and outshot Lawrence 32-1 in the contest - including a key 22-1 shot-on-goal advantage.

Jensen Meyer (Germantown, Wis.) and freshman defender
Stephanie Zachemski (Itasca, Ill.) each added a goal for Carroll, which showcased an aggressive, balanced attack by scoring three goals in each half and attempting 16 corner kicks in the contest. Freshman midfielder

Senior goalkeeper Claire Vinopal registered 14 saves in playing 66 minutes for Lawrence, which dropped to 0-8 overall.
