ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Carroll University women's soccer team played to a scoreless tie with University of Northwestern in a double-overtime nonconference game at Reynolds Field on Friday afternoon.
It was the second tie of the early season for Carroll, which is currently 0-1-2 overall following the grueling marathon road test.
It was a frustrating final outcome for the hard-working Pioneers, who outshot Univ. of Northwestern 22-6 in the contest - highlighted by a 10-3 shot-on-goal advantage.

Mattie Pusateri (Lombard, Ill.) each adding one.
Junior goalkeeper
Christina O' Block (Libertyville, Ill.) registered three saves in playing the entire way for the Pioneers, who will host No. 2-ranked University of Chicago in their home opener at Schneider Stadium on Sunday at noon.
