WAUKESHA, Wis. - The Carroll University women's swimming and diving team defeated Illinois Institute of Technology 121-73 in a nonconference dual meet at Van Male Natatorium on Saturday.
It was the first victory of the season for Carroll, which improved to 1-2 overall.
Josie Peterson won the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 2 minutes, 5.07 seconds to help lead the Pioneers, who generated a season-high point total.
Other individuals claiming victories for Carroll were:
Kara Loy, 50 freestyle (27.04);
Ingrid Hay, 200 backstroke (2:15.85) and
Chopper Ceshker, 1,650 freestyle (20:33.57).
