WATERLOO, IOWA. -- The Carroll University women's bowling team finished fourth after day one of the 2022 Peacock Classic hosted by Upper Iowa. After five baker matches, Carroll finished with a 4,387 total pin fall to tie with Quincy University.
The Pioneers started with a victory over in conference rival Augustana by a score of 873-804. The Pioneers ran into top ranked Marian in their second match, falling 849-1,012. After back-to-back losses in games 3 & 4, Carroll defeated North Central 942-760 to end the day.
Carroll will come back on Saturday, 1/22, and bowl five traditional scoring games. Starting against the Titans of Illinois Wesleyan.
