Box Score ELMHURST, Ill. – The Carroll University men's soccer team fell to the Elmhurst Bluejays on Saturday night by a score of 0-2.
 
The Pioneers (6-5, 1-2 CCIW) recorded over nine shots, but only was able to get off at least one in the second half after starting the first half with eight. Nico Hintens Llorens led the team in shots. Carroll surrendered over 12 Bluejay shots in the second half. Jesper Johannassen recorded 11 saves.
 
After a 0-0 start the entire first half, Elmhurst got on the board first with a double-assisted goal in the 58^th minute to take the 1-0 lead. The Bluejays followed it up with a goal high left in the 63^rd minute to put the Pioneers on ice.
 
Carroll will regroup and face Wisconsin-Whitewater on the road next week Wednesday, October 5 in Whitewater.
