APPLETON, Wis. - Josie Peterson won the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 56.41 seconds and was a member of the first-place 200 medley and 200 freestyle relay teams but the Carroll University women's swimming and diving team lost to Lawrence University 124-87 in a season-opening nonconference dual meet Saturday.
Shannon Faulhaber added a victory in the 100 backstroke, finishing in 1:09.36.
Chopper Ceshker was second in the 200 and 500 freestyles and was also a member of the winning 200 freestyle relay for the Pioneers.
