WAUKESHA, Wis. – The Carroll University women's soccer team is preparing for their appearance in the 2022 CCIW Women's Soccer Championship Tournament, starting with the quarterfinal match this Saturday, October 28 at 6 PM. Carroll will host its first-ever CCIW tournament game at Schneider Stadium with no. 5 seeded Augustana College in attendance.
 
The Pioneers capped off the regular season with a 10-3-5 record and a 3-1-4 record in the CCIW. Carroll has recorded at least 10 wins a year in five of the last seven seasons. The Pios finished the regular season with three matches against eventual regionally ranked programs and pulled results from the two in the CCIW. Carroll's strong defense this season has left them 61^st in the Nation in goals-against average through their 18 games, which also led the conference.
 
Carroll's rematch against Augustana comes one weekend after the regular season match-up. The Pioneers tied Augustana 0-0 in 90 minutes at home on October 21. Grace Tumilty had a game-high six shots, three of which were on goal.
