DEKALB, Ill. – The Carroll University women's bowling team wrapped up its 2021-22 season after falling twice in the 2022 CCIW Women's Bowling Tournament. The Pios fell earlier in the morning to number one seeded Marian, then finished the afternoon with a loss to number three seeded Carthage.
The Pios fell to the Sabres in traditional play, 784-772. Soon after, Carroll dropped the ensuing baker match to Marian 897-791.
In the afternoon, Carthage outscored Carroll 966-873 in the traditional game, and Carroll ended the tournament with a 1017-764 loss to the Firebirds in baker.
