WAUKESHA, Wis. - Carroll's 2023 men's soccer campaign came to a close Wednesday night with a 2-0 loss to North Park University. The Vikings also out-shot the Pioneers 16-7, including an 8-1 edge in shots on goal.

North Park (10-5-2, 5-2-1 CCIW) opened the scoring in the 39th minute of the first half when William de Carro scored off an assist from Hugo Neborg, giving the Vikings the slim halftime lead. NPU added a second goal in the final minutes of the second half to secure the victory.

Jesper Johannassen played all 90 minutes at Goal Keeper for Carroll (7-10-1, 2-6-1 CCIW), recording six saves. His counterpart, Alfred Sward, also played the entire game in the net for North Park, making one save.
