Carroll Men's Soccer Wraps Season Up With Exhibition Against Wisconsin

MADISON, Wis. - Carroll University men's soccer closed out its 2025 campaign with a special exhibition opportunity against NCAA Division I opponent Wisconsin at the Dan McClimon Memorial Track/Soccer Complex. Though the final score favored the Badgers, 3–0, the match offered far more than just a result, it was a meaningful experience for the Pioneers on multiple levels.

Facing a high-caliber Division I program, Carroll showed resilience and determination throughout the 90-minute contest. Sophomore goalkeeper Uriel Garcia made four saves, while Marti Solanelles led the Pioneers with two shots, including one on target. Carroll's defense held strong against a relentless Wisconsin attack that produced 24 total shots and 11 corner kicks.

Beyond the stat sheet, the exhibition served as a valuable developmental opportunity for Carroll's younger players and a memorable final outing for upperclassmen. Competing against a nationally recognized program provided exposure to elite-level play and showcased the Pioneers' commitment to growth and excellence. This was a fantastic experience for the program as playing a Division I team like Wisconsin not only challenges players, but also helps us build momentum for the future.

With the 2025 season officially concluded, the Pioneers now turn their attention to offseason development and preparation for 2026. Today's exhibition was a fitting way to celebrate the team's journey and set the tone for what's ahead.
