FINAL CCIW CHAMPIONSHIP BRACKET

WESTMONT, Ill. - Carroll's successful 2025 women's bowling season came to an end Sunday morning, as the Pioneers lost to top-seeded Marian in an elimination match to start the day.

In the best of three series, Marian won the traditional match by a score of 931-828. The Sabres would then close out the match with a win in the Baker format, narrowly edging the Pios, 879-877. The complete Baker Match scores were as follows:

Carroll: 184 - 213 - 160 - 159 - 161
Marian: 203 - 153 -201 - 157 - 165

Individually, Samantha Sciortino led Carroll in the traditional round with a score of 189. Hanna Bartlett was second on the team with a 170, while CCIW Student-Athlete of the Year Ava Butt was third with a score of 165. Allyson Will and Hope Minett added scores of 154 and 150, respectively.

Marian would go on to defeat third-seeded Aurora in the final to earn the CCIW Tournament Championship and receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
