NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Sophomore midfielder Iskander Sharipov of the Carroll University men's soccer team has been named First Team All-College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin, earning All-Conference recognition for the second consecutive season.

Sharipov followed his Second Team All-CCIW selection as a freshman with an impressive sophomore campaign, starting all 17 matches and establishing career highs across the board. He recorded five goals and six assists for a team-high 16 points, finishing the regular season with 26 shots and 15 shots on goal. Two of his five goals were game-winners.

After making an immediate impact during his freshman season, Sharipov took another step forward in 2026. He more than doubled his scoring output from a year ago, when he registered two goals and four points in nine appearances, and added a playmaking element with six assists this season after not recording one as a freshman.

His impact became especially important during Carroll's push toward the CCIW Tournament. Sharipov produced one of his strongest stretches late in the regular season, including a game-winning goal in the Pioneers' 3-2 conference victory over Elmhurst.

Through his first two collegiate seasons, Sharipov has started 26 games, totaling seven goals and six assists for 20 points. He has placed 19 of his 31 career shots on goal and has already recorded two game-winning goals.

The First Team selection marks another step forward after Sharipov earned Second Team All-CCIW honors during his freshman campaign, giving him two All-Conference awards through his first two seasons with the Pioneers.

The Pioneers now turn their attention to postseason play. Fifth-seeded Carroll will travel to fourth-seeded Wheaton for the quarterfinals of the 2026 CCIW Men's Soccer Championship on Saturday, Oct. 31. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Joe Bean Stadium in Wheaton, Illinois.
