Carroll University Athletics

Brendan Nachtrieb joined the Carroll University coaching staff in 2018 as a Graduate Assistant. Nachtrieb spent his last four years playing football at Hamline University, and graduated this past spring with a major in Philosophy, and a minor in Criminal Justice. Nachtrieb was a four year varsity letter winner with the Pipers, playing all four years at running back. He will be working with the Pioneers running backs this upcoming fall.  
 
During his four years at Hamline University, Nachtrieb was a part of the teams Leadership Council serving as a liaison between the players and the coaching staff. Nachtrieb received the opportunity to help out the Hamline coaching staff in the spring of his senior year where he worked with the running backs. Nachtrieb will be pursuing a Masters degree in education at Carroll University. 
 
Coach Nachtrieb is an Illinois native where he attended Metamora Township High School and played quarterback for the Redbirds.
