Mike Connell will enter his second year with the Pioneers in 2017 coaching the running backs. Coach Connell has over 20 years coaching experience at the High School and Semi-Pro level. He has held many positions ranging from Head Coach to position coach. Coach Connell had coached every position on the field; having coaching stops at St. Catherine's High School, Slinger High School, University School of Milwaukee, Kettle Moraine High School, and two years as head coach at Whitefish Bay Dominican High School. Connell has also served as Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator at the Semi-Pro level.
As an Offensive Coordinator, Connell has coached 3 teams that have ranked in the top 10 in the State in one or more offensive categories. As a Defensive Coordinator, he has coached 2 different teams that have led their conferences in one or more defensive categories in multiple years.
Connell was a 3 sport athlete in High School as well as competing nationally in Karate and Kickboxing. He played 10 seasons of Semi-Professional and Indoor Football as a Wide Receiver and Quarterback, winning 2 Championships.
Connell lives in the Waukesha area with his wife Romy, and four children, Edward, Michelle, Stephen, and Samuel.
