Carroll University Athletics

After one season (2011) as the quarterbacks coach at Carroll University, Peter Jennings took over offensive coordinator responsibilities in 2012.

Jennings, a former standout quarterback at Illinois College, was an assistant coach at Iowa Wesleyan College for three years. He coached quarterbacks and wide receivers at various points with the Tigers then was promoted to offensive coordinator for the 2010 season under first-year head coach Kent Anderson.

The Fort Madison, Iowa, native graduated from Illinois College in December 2007 with degrees in psychology and exercise science. During his four years as quarterback for the Blueboys, Jennings passed for 6,044 yards and 62 touchdowns and was a one-time record holder for passing yards in a season and touchdowns in a career.

Jennings and his wife, Kim, reside in Waukesha with son Benjamin.
