Robert Nichols joined the Carroll University football staff in 2012 after working as a football and basketball coach at his prep alma mater, Joliet West High School.
Nichols, a 2009 graduate from the University of Dubuque, began his collegiate playing career at Missouri State University (2-year letter-winner) before finishing his final two seasons at Dubuque (2-year starter).
In addition to coaching, Nichols brings experience in other facets of the game. He has been a strength and conditioning coach at the high school level while also working with athletes of all ages on speed enhancement.
Nichols will coach the defensive backs for the Pioneers.
