Entering his second season with the Carroll University golf program, Ben Marks brings a diverse background in education and coaching to the Pioneer staff. Originally from Wausau, Wisconsin, Marks previously taught and coached in the Appleton Area School District and has coached golf, football, cross country, track and field, and basketball at both the middle and high school levels.
Marks currently teaches special education in the Milwaukee area and has experience in both special education advocacy and the nonprofit sector. He earned a bachelor's degree in Communication from UW-Oshkosh, a master's degree in Special Education from UW-Stevens Point, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Edgewood University.
Away from the classroom and golf course, Marks enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, exploring new restaurants, collecting sports cards and memorabilia, and cheering on his favorite Chicago teams, including the Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks, and White Sox.
