John Barry is in his third season as the Head Coach for Carroll's men's and women's golf programs during the 2025-26 school year, after serving one year as the Pioneers' assistant golf coach. During his one year as an assistant, Barry helped Carroll put together a great season in which the Pios received their first CCIW All-Conference selection since 1990. He would also coach one player to the All-Conference team in his first year as Head Coach (2023-24).
Barry has more than eight years of experience in the golf industry, working with multiple different golf organizations throughout the Wisconsin region. Possessing the ability to excel in understanding the game of golf, Barry has found a similar strength in building relationships with individuals on and off the course. This will be used to his advantage to help further the program and build strong well-rounded student-athletes.

Barry earned his bachelors degree in golf enterprise management from UW-Stout in 2016.Â
