Megan Mahoney begins her third season as an assistant coach with the Carroll University women’s soccer program. Prior to coming to Carroll, she was the assistant varsity soccer Coach at Pacelli High School in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. She has been a camp staff coach at Carroll for the previous three years and at Carthage College for the past 8 years. Mahoney played her soccer career at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point from 2009-2012. While playing at UWSP, Mahoney was named a captain for the 2012 season. She was a 2-time WIAC Conference Champion with her team. Additionally, during her career, her team also made two appearances in the NCAA Tournament and once advanced to the Sweet Sixteen.
Outside of coaching, Megan is a Special Education Teacher in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She graduated from UWSP with a major in Early Childhood Education and a Special Education minor. She also completed her master’s degree in Education here at Carroll University in 2019.
