Kennedy Osterman is in her first season as an assistant coach for the Carroll University women's basketball program.
A former five-year collegiate student-athlete, Kennedy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Radio, Television, and Film with a minor in Communication from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh before completing her Master of Science in Communications at the University of Illinois Springfield.
During her playing career, Kennedy earned numerous accolades, including WIAC Co-Newcomer of the Year, First Team All-WIAC, Defensive Team honors, GLVC All-Newcomer Team recognition, National Player of the Week, and membership in the 1,000-point club. She also helped lead UW–Oshkosh to three NCAA Tournament appearances, including an Elite Eight run during the 2023–24 season.
Off the court, Kennedy has developed a strong background in sports communications and digital media through positions with the Milwaukee Wave, UW–Oshkosh Athletics, and KSO Cards. Her experience includes managing social media accounts, creating graphics and promotional videos, producing digital content, and helping tell the stories of athletic programs.
Kennedy has also been recognized for her academic and professional achievements. She served as the academic program student marshal at commencement, was named Outstanding Graduate Student in Communication, and earned first- and third-place honors in sports play-by-play at the 2024 Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Student Production Awards.
In addition to her collegiate experience, Kennedy has coached AAU basketball with 1on1 Milwaukee and the Pewaukee Women's Basketball Club.
