Carroll University Athletics

Max General enters his first season as a Graduate Assistant Coach with the Carroll University football program in 2026. He works primarily with the Pios' wide receivers while also serving as the team's Film Coordinator.

General returned to his alma mater after graduating from Carroll University in 2025 with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. 

Prior to Carroll, General began his collegiate playing career as a quarterback at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. During his time with the Chaparrals, he helped lead the program to two NJCAA National Championships and earned NJCAA Player of the Week honors. He later transferred to Roosevelt University before finishing his collegiate career at Carroll University.

A native of Chicago, Illinois, General is a graduate of Notre Dame College Prep in Niles, Illinois. He currently resides in Waukesha, Wisconsin, with his fiancée, Caroline.
