Carroll University Athletics

Steve Staab is in his 20th year as head athletic trainer and instructor at Carroll University for the 2025-26 school year. Steve joined the Pioneers' athletic training staff in 2004 and was named head athletic trainer in 2006.

Staab graduated from Carroll in 2002 with a degree in fitness management and an athletic training emphasis. He then received his master’s degree in health education at Carroll in 2008. In addition to providing athletic training services to Carroll athletics, Staab is also an instructor for the athletic training education program.

As an undergrad at Carroll, Staab was a standout performer on the Pioneers football and track & field teams. He served as a certified athletic trainer at Mukwonago High School and Waukesha Sports Medicine prior to joining the Pioneers staff.
 
Staab is a native of Abbotsford, Wis. He lives in Waukesha with his wife Tiffany, son Bryten, who is a pitcher for Carroll's baseball team, and daughter Addisyn.
