Hermsen had an outstanding meet at Saturday's St. Norbert Invitational in his hometown of De Pere, Wis., winning the Shot Put (16.65m), Discus (57.74m), and Hammer (56.84m). All three throws were season-bests in the respective event. Hermsen currently leads the CCIW, while ranking second in Division-III in the Discus, while ranking second in the conference and 12th nationally in the Shot Put. He also ranks sixth in the CCIW in the Hammer, while also ranking 20th in D-III in that event.
