Peterson was in mid-season form at Carroll's season-opening Carroll Double Dual over the weekend. Peterson led the Pioneers to wins over both Lawrence and MSOE, as she won both the 200 freestyle (2:00.84) and 100 freestyle (55.11). She also swam a leg on Carroll's first-place relay team in the 200 freestyle, which swam a time of 1:46.12.
