Fitzsimons did not allow a goal in Carroll's two games last week, playing all 180 minutes as the Pios' Goal Keeper. In Wednesday's win against Wheaton (IL), Fitzsimons broke the program record for career shtouts with her 22nd as a Pioneer, while her 2-0 shutout Saturday at Illinois Wesleyan marked her eighth of the season and third in a row. That helped Carroll win the CCIW Championship for the first time in program history, which also marks their first conference championship since winning the Midwest Conference in 2011. That also clinches the top seed in the 2024 CCIW Tournament for the Pioneers.
