After the Pioneers lost the doubles point in a Friday's match against UW-Superior, Carroll rattled off five singles victories, led by Andrew LaBelle. The junior from Mukwonago, Wis. battled Yash Chhabra and came away triumphant with a dominant 6-1, 6-2 victory. LaBelle kicked off a series of singles victories to lead the Pioneers to a 5-2 victory over the Yellowjackets. LaBelle’s efforts continued into Saturday when the Pioneers took on 17^th-ranked UW-Whitewater. Andrew lost his duel against Andrew Dumbauld in tiebreaker fashion, but went toe-to-toe with one of the toughest opponents in the nation.
