Carroll University swimmer Erin Fixen turned in a stellar performance during Saturday’s dual meet against UW-Oshkosh, showcasing endurance and versatility across multiple events. Fixen highlighted the day with a second-place finish in the 1650-yard freestyle, clocking 20:04.15 in one of the most demanding races in collegiate swimming. Her effort set the tone for Carroll’s distance group and earned crucial points for the team.
In addition to her standout swim in the mile, Fixen contributed in the 400-yard medley relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay, helping the Pioneers maintain competitive times against a deep UW-Oshkosh squad. She also competed in the 100-yard butterfly, finishing fourth with a time of 1:07.21, demonstrating her ability to excel in both distance and stroke events.
