Kevin Dineen returns to Carroll University for his first year as a pitching coach for the Pioneers.
Coach Dineen is from Chicago, Illinois, and is a graduate of St. Laurence High School (Burbank, IL). Following his high school career Coach Dineen attended and played baseball at Olivet Nazarene University from 2010-2012. After his sophomore year he transferred to Carroll University in the Fall of 2012 to continue his academic and athletic career until 2015. In the 2014 season Coach Dineen played under Coach Rear, in his first season as Head Coach for the Pioneers, while going on to be a Midwest Conference All Conference Pitcher and became the first Pioneer to play in the Northwoods League as a member of the Kenosha Kingfish. Coach Dineen graduated from Carroll in 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice.
Following his time at Carroll, Coach Dineen began coaching at the high school level at West Allis Nathan Hale, Palmyra-Eagle and Stiks Academy Fall Ball from 2015-2016. For the last three years Coach Dineen was a teacher and coached baseball at St. Laurence High School. Coach Dineen is employed at St. Catherine's Catholic School in Milwaukee, Wis. as a middle school ELA teacher. He and his wife Holly, also a Carroll graduate, are excited to be back in Wisconsin and rejoin the Pioneer baseball family.
