BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Junior outside hitter Dana Voltolina (St. Charles, Ill.) had a team-high 14 kills but it wasn't enough as the Carroll University women's volleyball team lost to Illinois Wesleyan 25-19, 25-15, 18-25, 25-12 in a four-game College Conference of Illinois-Wisconsin dual meet Tuesday.
It was the sixth consecutive dual-meet loss for Carroll, which dropped to 0-3 in conference duals and 5-14 overall.
Sophomore outside hitter Amanda Hahn (Itasca, Ill.) contributed eight kills and freshman middle blocker Erika Dunnam (Shawano, Wis.) followed with seven kills for the Pioneers. Sophomore libero Rachel Harn (Freeport, Ill.) had 14 digs and a service ace with freshman setter Emma Przeslicke (Evergreen Park, Ill.) adding 23 assists.
Sophomore outside hitter Tyler Brown had a meet-high 20 kills and 16 digs to lead Illinois Wesleyan, which improved to 3-1 in conference and 11-5 overall. Junior outside hitter Kyleigh Block and sophomore outside hitter Rachel Burkman each collected 11 kills for the Titans.
