(Waukesha, Wis.) – The Carroll University women's lacrosse team is on a roll. Eleven days after picking up the program's first-ever victory, the Pioneers clobbered Concordia University-Chicago, 13-4 to make it two in a row.
 
Carroll left no doubt as to whom the dominant team was on the night, jumping out to a 4-0 lead in the opening seven-plus minutes and holding a 9-2 lead at halftime.
 
The Pioneers then outscored the visitors 4-2 in the second half to secure the victory.
 
Kailey Leahy led all players with four goals while Betty Koenig added a hat-trick (3 goals). Karla De La Rosa added two goals while Katie Majewski, Ariannah Ritter, Hannah Morrow and Mary Kate Williams added one goal each.
 
CU net minder Shelby Will recorded 10 saves to get the victory for CU.
 
The red-hot Pioneers return to action tomorrow when they travel to Concordia University-Wisconsin.
