(Rock Island, Ill.) – The Carroll University men's lacrosse team lost its College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin opener at Augustana College. The Pioneers were defeated 26-0.
 
Augustana led 8-0 after the first quarter and held a 17-0 advantage at halftime. The home side on went on to net seven goals in the third quarter and two more in the fourth.
 
Edward Weizenicker led CU with two shots while Dylan Steichen added one.
 
Carroll goalkeeper Dakota Hwilka recorded 13 saves.
