Carroll 3, Dubuque 16

(Dubuque, Iowa) – The Carroll University women's lacrosse team lost its College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin opener at the University of Dubuque. UD bested the Pioneers, 16-3.
 
Dubuque held a 13-3 advantage at halftime then scored three goals in the second half.
 
Ariannah Ritter led CU with two goals while Katie Majewski netted one.
 
Shelby Will recorded 12 saves for the Pioneers.
