KENOSHA, Wis. - The Carroll University women's volleyball team lost to Dominican University 26-24, 26-24, 24-26, 25-22 in the opening round of the Carthage College Tournament on Friday.
Junior outside hitter Dana Voltolina (St. Charles, Ill.) had a team-high 14 kills and two blocks in the nonconference dual to lead Carroll, which dropped to 4-5 overall. 
Sophomore outside hitter Amanda Hahn (Itasca, Ill.) followed with nine kills while freshman middle blocker Erika Dunnam (Shawano, Wis.) contributed eight kills and three blocks for the Pioneers. Freshman setter Jennilyn Joy Cave (Bolingbrook, Ill.) and freshman setter Emma Przeslicke (Evergreen Park, Ill.) each collected 17 assists, sophomore defensive specialist Rachel Harn (Freeport, Ill.) had 14 digs and sophomore middle blocker Karley Wolf (Roselle, Ill.) added three service aces.
Kendyl Todd had 11 kills and two aces for Dominican, which improved to 2-6 overall.
