Elmhurst, Ill.

The Pioneers picked up a 6-3 victory over Elmhurst College on Saturday, October 14. The win brings the season total to five conference wins for the women's tennis team, tying a CCIW record for conference wins in a season. The Pioneers were able to take four of six singles matches and two fo three doubles matches. With the individual CCIW Championships starting tomorrow, October 19, the ladies enter as the fourth overall seed, with hopes to improve their position throughout the tournament.

The CCIW championships will be held at Centre Court Athletics Club in Hanover Park, Ill. The event will be hosted by Wheaton College, with play beginning at 10 am tomorrow.

Shanna Mogden in the number two singles and Grace Krueger and Tiffany Maggioncalda in the number one doubles.
